I have over 10 years of experience teaching Mathematics to students from primary school up to GCSE level. Throughout my teaching career, I have worked with students of different abilities, including those who struggle with Maths as well as high achieving students aiming for top grades. My teaching approach focuses on building a strong understanding of fundamental concepts before progressing to more advanced topics and exam-style questions. I have successfully helped many students improve their confidence, mathematical skills, and academic performance, with some students progressing from failing grades to achieving A grades in their examinations.

My lessons are tailored to each student’s level and learning pace. I begin by teaching the fundamental concepts for each topic to ensure students build a strong understanding and confidence in Maths. I believe that understanding the basics is very important before moving on to more challenging questions. Once students are comfortable with the topic, I guide them through exam-style questions and problem-solving techniques to help them become familiar with different question formats and improve their exam performance. I also provide revision sessions before tests and assessments to strengthen their understanding and boost confidence. My teaching approach is patient, supportive, and encouraging. My main objective is to help students improve academically while also making Maths enjoyable and less stressful, so they can develop confidence and see Maths as a fun subject to learn.
