I am a retired research engineer with degrees in engineering and maths. I am a Chartered Engineer and MIEE. I specialise in Physics and Maths both A level and GCCE. I am also a member of Mensa.
Tutoring Experience
I have been tutoring maths and physics for over 20 years, full time for the past 10 years. I specialise in AQA A level physics but also teach A level Maths and GCSE in each subject. I teach AQA, Edexcel, OCR(A) and WJEC. I teach both UK and international students and my focus is sound principles and building student motivation to achieve excellent examination results.
Tutoring Approach
My approach is to build lessons around the very latest past paper questions pertinent to the requirements of each student. I focus on exam technique, strategy and question trends for each board. I offer unlimited support outside tutoring sessions by answering any questions via WhatsApp and help in using AI and other tools in the most advantageous ways.
