I’m a pharmacist and public health researcher with a strong academic background in the health sciences. I am a postgraduate student at the University of Sheffield. I enjoy helping students understand difficult concepts clearly, build confidence and develop effective study habits. I have experience across pharmacy, public health and research, giving me a strong foundation in Biology, Chemistry and health-related subjects. My approach is student-centred: I break complex topics into simple, manageable ideas and adapt my teaching to each student’s level, learning style and goals. Whether you are preparing for exams, catching up on challenging topics or looking to strengthen your understanding, I aim to make learning clear, practical and engaging.
I have experience supporting students and learners across pharmacy, health sciences and public health, with a particular focus on breaking down complex topics into clear, understandable concepts. As a pharmacist and public health researcher, I have supported students and colleagues through academic discussions, mentoring and knowledge-sharing. I have also delivered health education and training sessions to community members and pharmacists, adapting my approach to different levels of knowledge and learning needs. My own academic background includes a Distinction in both my B.Pharm and MSc Public Health, and I am currently studying for a Master of Public Health at the University of Sheffield as an Erasmus Mundus Scholar. I bring a structured, patient and encouraging approach to teaching, helping students build both understanding and confidence. My goal is not simply to help students get the right answer, but to help them understand the subject well enough to approach similar question
My teaching approach is student-centred, clear and practical. I first identify what the student understands, where they are struggling and what they want to achieve, then tailor each lesson accordingly. I break complex topics into simple steps, use relatable examples and encourage students to ask questions rather than simply memorise information. I also use practice questions and active recall to reinforce learning and check understanding throughout the lesson. I aim to create a relaxed environment where students feel comfortable making mistakes and asking questions. Most importantly, I want students to leave each session feeling more confident and able to tackle problems independently.
