About Daniel
Hi, I'm Daniel! I am a 3rd-year MEng General Engineering student at the University of Sheffield and I'm offering support for Maths and Science up to A-Level. Having achieved 4 A*s at A-Level (Maths, Further Maths, Physics, Chemistry) and 8 Grade 9s at GCSE (including Triple Science), I know firsthand what examiners look for and how to master difficult STEM topics. My goal as a tutor is to help students build confidence, master tricky problem-solving techniques, and translate their subject knowledge into top exam grades through structured, stress-free lessons. Outside of university and teaching, I love running, hiking, and exploring the outdoors.

I have no previous teaching experience, but with clear communication skills and my strong academic foundation, I am confident in my tutoring ability.
Approach
I will try to tailor sessions to the student's individual learning speed, whether that involves filling foundational gaps, walking through challenging problem sets together, or stretching high-achievers toward A/A* boundaries.
