Edie B.

I've recently graduated with a Bachelors in Sociology from the University of Sheffield after studying for a very rewarding and enjoyable three years! I love keeping up to date with current international politics through podcasts, news articles and books which reflects my major love of reading. In my spare time, whilst I'm not reading, I love being active in my swimming and running, discovering new meals to cook up, and listening to a wide range of music whether that's through Spotify or my vinyl player. I've recently gotten into watercolour painting and scrapbooking which has been a great way to document all my travels after being away this summer. I love chatting to people and thrive off of connecting with others whether that's through shared interests or discovering something new!

I've had a little bit of experience delivering workshops to a Rainbows and Brownies youth group.

I'll start my lessons focusing on what are the areas of strength and enjoyment in the subject, then focus on areas where there may be a lack of confidence and room for improvement. I look at what the root of the issue is and adapt to this by focusing on current examples that are relevant and how to implement this knowledge into the structure that the exam board are looking for in exams.
