Teaching experience

Before tutoring, I trained professionals in the tech environment on new systems and technology, which meant explaining complex things to people who had no background in them. Some needed a diagram, some needed to talk it through, some needed to break it themselves and fix it. You learn to read that fast. That is how I run lessons now. I break the topic into steps small enough that you cannot get lost, check you actually have it betore moving on, then hand it to you to do alone. If the first explanation does not land, that is my problem to solve, not yours.

Approach

Bring me the question, assignment or concept that is causing trouble. We will start by finding the exact point where it stops making sense. I will explain it in plain language, work through an example with you, then let you try while I guide you. For English and Spanish, lessons can include conversation, pronunciation, vocabulary, reading and writing, depending on your goal. For Computer Science, we learn by breaking problems into logical steps and practising with real examples. For exams or coursework, we focus on the syllabus, common mistakes and how to build stronger answers. You will leave each lesson knowing what improved and what to practise next. I am patient, but I will also challenge you when you are ready. The goal is not just to finish one task. It is to help you become confident enough to handle the next one yourself.
