I am a recent maths graduate with two years experience tutoring maths at all secondary levels. Having achieved a level 7 in IB maths myself and a first class undergraduate degree I have a detailed subject knowledge which allows me to effectively identify knowledge gaps and build student confidence. In university I saw the beauty of the structure and patterns in maths and I love to share that with my students, or at least show them that it can be fun! With 1 on 1 specialised care I ensure my students have strong foundations and are thinking about problems in the right way to excel in their exams. I have been trained and acted as a volunteer youth mentor for two years, giving me a particular strength in careful listening and making young people feel comfortable, heard, and motivated.
