Vidya A.

I am an enthusiastic and experienced Maths and Science tutor providing one to one private lessons for the past few years. I started tutoring in 2014 while I was at university. I have a Masters degree ( MSc) in Electronics and Communications systems. I am committed to long term tutoring as this provides stability ,predictability and continuous learning support for children. I am patient and can explain the concepts with multiple examples until the child understands it. I teach students who are doing Primary, Secondary and GCSE. I am up to date with the latest specifications of AQA, EDEXCEL and OCR exam boards. Homework ( Exam style questions ) is provided to check the understanding of what is been taught during the session and to encourage independent revision. I use the textbooks endorsed by the respective exam boards for teaching. I My teaching is very much exam oriented and I am able to tailor my method of teaching depending on the student's need and skill set.

Over the years I have taught children with varying skills and I have tailored my teaching to support their educational needs and skill sets.

All my lessons are one to one and this helps to provide undivided, personalized attention that helps students make faster academic progress and build stronger confidence than traditional classroom teaching.
