Zainaa F.

I provide tutoring for GCSE Biology and AQA A-Level Psychology. I am a BDS Dental Surgery student at the University of Sheffield, with a strong understanding of the key concepts, specifications and exam requirements across these subjects. For Psychology, I have experience with core areas of the AQA specification, as well as Cognition and Development, Schizophrenia and Forensic Psychology. For Biology, I focus on helping students understand key concepts and apply their knowledge effectively to exam questions. I am passionate about helping students build confidence in both subject knowledge and exam technique. My lessons are personalised to each student's needs, whether they require help with difficult topics, weaker areas, revision or exam preparation.

I have tutored students for A-level psychology and have gained great feedback from my lessons, which have been both highly interactive and informative.

n my lessons, I build on students’ existing knowledge using interactive methods such as mind maps, helping them visualise and organise their understanding. I also like to break down difficult concepts, particularly in Biology, using diagrams, labelled images and tables to make information clearer and easier to remember. Alongside subject knowledge, I believe exam technique is essential for achieving high marks. Knowing the content is important, but understanding how to apply it and structure your answers effectively can make a significant difference. Therefore, I work through exam questions with students, analyse model answers and identify what examiners are looking for, helping students develop the confidence and skills needed to achieve their full potential.
